I'm 28 years old, born in the UK and now living in the HOLY LAND! No, I'm not a Zionist....(well, just a bit)....My roots are Jewish and Greek. "What a mix"... I hear you say! Yes, it was quite tough growing up with a Greek Dad and a Jewish Mother! Put it this way, social life was slim, homework was intense and extra study was expected! (Not mentioning the boyfriend topic!) Food was always plenty, tasty and a real mix! I'm a true Jewish Mediterranean!!!
I've been living in Israel for the past year and half and it's a wonderful country, filled with amazing people and plenty of opportunity. My Hebrew is still disgustingly basic, but I'll get there eventually - alternatively, I can always try converting the country to good old "Queens English!"
I live in a little village just outside Tel Aviv, with my boyfriend. We also share our liittle residence with a crazy cat! Sissy, who's a Russian Blue and very proud of it! She's definitely the Queen of the Castle!!!!
I work for Amdocs as a technical writer, which is great fun when you get a chance to travel all over the world, writing stuff!!!
It has taken me quite some time to get used Israel, but it's cool! Very different from the UK! But great none-the-less!!! I now offically have 2 homes!
I have a wonderful family - A Mum who knows me better than I know myself and who always knows the right things to say. A sister who is my other half, a Dad who is always there with good advice and always knows how to make me feel good about my acheivments and a Grandmother who is my second best friend, after my sister of course - TO YOU ALL I LOVE YOU AND CHERISH YOU - WITH OUT YOU I WOULD BE NOTHING!
